OPENING NIGHT EVENT: SPIRITED AWAY cosplay screening. Thursday August 24 – 6.30pm. Tickets on sale below. We open the festival with a bang and invite you to dress up in your best Ghibli attire. Prizes for best dressed, a fashion parade in cinema, Ghibli trivia, door prizes and more. Hosted by Stephen A Russell. Celebrate the legendary Japanese animation studio with a festival showcasing every film they have ever made, with most screening in both the original Japanese language with English subtitles as well as English revoiced versions.
