How to Be a Good Wife

Directed by Martin Provost (The Midwife), the perennially ageless Juliette Binoche stars in this French romp set in the ‘60s as a woman who finds herself in debt following her husband’s death, and - thanks to a nationwide women’s liberation movement - suddenly questioning everything. Morally-upright Paulette (Binoche) runs a housekeeping school for French girls, teaching them how to be good wives. When her husband Robert dies unexpectedly and her financial state is revealed, Paulette finds herself embarking on a surprising adventure that will take her through the fires of rekindled love, questioning of beliefs and personal transformation.
