In January 2020, director Xiaorui (Xiaorui Mao) reunites his cast and crew in Wuhan to complete the shooting of a decade-old abandoned passion project. When the city is thrust into lockdown, the production team find themselves confined to their separate hotel rooms with communication reduced to Whatsapp and video calls. Isolated and separated from their loved ones, Xiaorui and his crew are forced to determine how to move forward in a rapidly changing world.
