Apocalypse Now

Francis Ford Coppola’s potent vision of war and violence and the men that drive them is widely considered one of the best films of all time, and an epic indeed (proven by Coppola editing over million feet of film in the end).
Saigon, 1970, and Captain Willard (Martin Sheen) has been given a mission: to journey upriver to find and “terminate” Colonel Kurtz (Marlon Brando), a once-promising officer who has reportedly gone mad. In the company of a Navy patrol boat filled with street-smart kids, a surfing-obsessed Air Cavalry officer (Robert Duvall), and a crazed freelance photographer (Dennis Hopper), Willard travels further and further into the heart of darkness. A tremendous cast and incredible cinematography make for an unforgettable, dark journey. Based on Joseph Conrad's novel Heart Of Darkness.
