Banshees of Inisherin, The

Writer/director Martin McDonagh (Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri) reunites with In Bruges co-stars Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson for black comedy THE BANSHEES OF INISHERIN, winner of Best Actor (for Colin Farrell) and Best Screenplay at the Venice Film Festival.

Lifelong friends Pádraic (Farrell) and Colm (Gleeson) find themselves at an impasse when Colm unexpectedly puts an end to their friendship. Pádraic, aided by his sister Siobhán (Kerry Condon) and neighbour Dominic (Barry Keoghan), refuses to take no for an answer and endeavours to repair the relationship. When efforts to repair the relationship are rejected, events swiftly escalate in this Irish black comedy.

Called “a stone cold classic’ by the London Evening Standard upon its international debut, THE BANSHEES OF INISHERIN is an award-season frontrunner and Academy Awards nominee.
