NOVA FILM CLUB: Thursday 3 February, 6.15pm. Enjoy a beverage on arrival and conversation in the bar following the film. Drink specials, film passes + more to be given away to Film Club goers. Tickets on sale now!

Provocateur Paul Verhoeven (Basic Instinct, Robocop, Elle) returns with an intoxicatingly salacious drama set in 17th-century Italy. The threat of the Plague looms over Europe as Benedetta (Virginie Efira), a bride of Christ since the age of eight, has her faith tested by the arrival of Bartolomea (Daphne Patakia). As the two women become lovers, their lustful secret threatens to be exposed by the vengeful Abbess (Charlotte Rampling) until a miracle subverts the power dynamic between the nuns and causes the intrusion of a Papal envoy (Lambert Wilson).
