Blade Runner: The Final Cut + The Matrix

DOUBLE FEATURE! Ridley Scott and The Wachowski’s 20th century visions of the near future are as visually and conceptually thrilling today as they were upon release.

Over forty years after its release, Ridley Scott’s thriller BLADE RUNNER presents a future we have yet to fully reach - despite the film’s own unmistakable influence on the present. Following police officer Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), who chases down illegal humanoids (Daryl Hannah, Rutger Hauer) director Ridley Scott's film takes us into a world of multicoloured neon, skyscraper-high video advertisements and searching spotlights.

The Wachowski's 1999 thriller not only made the internet cool and the languishing career of Keanu Reeves white-hot, it also popularized 'bullet-time' special effects, kung fu, Hugo Weaving and, for better or worse, wearing sunglasses at night as well as arguments about red and blue pills. Taking the world by storm upon its original release, THE MATRIX returns to the screen to be appreciated by a whole new generation.
