AFTERNOON TEA ADVANCE SCREENING: Sunday April 13, 4.10pm. Enjoy a complimentary tea or coffee in the foyer ahead of an early screening of true story THE CORRESPONDENT, starring Richard Roxburgh.

On Christmas Eve 2014 in the shadow of the Great Pyramids of Egypt, Australian journalist Peter Greste (Richard Roxburgh) is reporting from the most dangerous city on earth, where bloody daily clashes between student revolutionaries and the government take place. What Greste doesn't know is that he's become a target, and within a few hours he would be arrested, strip-searched, dispatched to a dungeon and accused of multiple crimes of terrorism, each of which carries the death penalty.

Locked in the labyrinth of Egypt's prison system with only his wits keeping him alive, Greste learns true freedom will only come from staring down a brutal regime.

THE CORRESPONDENT is a gripping thriller and a compelling true story about the relentless defence of the truth and triumph of the human spirit. Starring Richard Roxburgh as Peter Greste and directed by Kriv Stenders (Red Dog).
