While driving through a large nature reserve for a weekend retreat, Elliot (Rudd) and his daughter Ridley (Ortega) accidentally hit and kill a unicorn. Unsure of what to do, they bring the unicorn to his boss Odell's (Grant) house, a pharmaceutical billionaire, seeking his help and guidance. Despite their best intentions, the father-daughter duo discover that Odell and his family plan on exploiting the creature’s miraculous curative properties, trying to create a potion for eternal life, and all hell breaks loose.
