French Exit

Thursday March 18 – 10.30am - Tickets on sale below
Join host Jan Epstein and Chris Gordon from Readings as they chat about the book-to-film adaptation of Patrick deWitt’s best-selling novel. Plus free morning tea.

Elegant, entitled and wickedly articulate Manhattan socialite Frances Price (Golden Globe-winner Michelle Pfeiffer), intended to die before her husband’s inheritance money ran out. But things didn’t go according to plan and, 12 years after his death, she sells the last of her possessions before leaving for Paris with her directionless son Malcolm (Academy Award-nominee Lucas Hedges) and cat, Small Frank. An uproarious, surreal dramedy directed by Azazel Jacobs (The Lovers), FRENCH EXIT is based on the novel of the same name by Patrick deWitt.
