Making her acting debut, musician Benee stars alongside Ed Oxenbould (The Visit) in this touching New Zealand coming of age/musical.

Christchurch, Aotearoa New Zealand, 1979. During a fortnight with his world-weary father, Angus (Oxenbould) is drawn to the underground post-punk music scene and becomes determind to start a band. Attempted to avoid the doldrums of the city with the support of his friend Kirsten (Benee), Angus navigates self doubt, derision and a family tragedy to the stage and for the first time.
