In the Mood for Love

Celebrating the cinema of Wong Kar Wai. The year is 1962. In the sleepy city of Hong Kong, Shanghai expatriates Mrs. Chan (Maggie Cheung) and Mr. Chow (Tony Leung), a journalist, move into neighbouring apartments on the same day. Their encounters are formal and polite—until a discovery about their respective spouses creates an intimate bond between them.

Winner of Best Actor for Tony Leung at the Cannes Film Festival, Wong Kar Wai's IN THE MOOD FOR LOVE is often cited as one of the finest films of all time for its arresting visuals and the charged sexual-tension between the two leads.
