It Must Be Heaven

In this delightfully droll and whimsical globetrotter comedy-drama from director Elia Suleiman (Divine Intervention), a man leaves Palestine in search of a new life - to Paris, to New York - only to find that his quest for a new home is shadowed by his old one. Finding reminders of Palestine everywhere he goes, his journey - and the film - meander along in surreal, absurdist style. Having competed for the Palme d’Or at Cannes and selected as the Palestinian entry for Best International Feature Film at the 92nd Academy Awards, Suleiman’s film becomes a wry study of what home is and where home lies.
