Menu, The

A delicious and dark satire skewering foodie culture. Mark Mylod's (Succession, Ali G Indahouse) black comedy THE MENU sees young couple Margot (Anya Taylor-Joy) and Tyler (Nicholas Hoult) travel to a remote island to indulge in a meal at one of the world's most exclusive restaurants, overseen by renowned Chef Slowik (Ralph Fiennes). Joined by only ten other diners (including Janet McTeer, Judith Light, John Leguizamo and Rob Yang), Margot and Tyler settle in for a degustation they'll never forget.
“The two lead actors (sorry, I can’t resist) are so good they’re delicious.” - VARIETY, “Fiennes' performance is in perfect harmony with Mylod’s direction: Both are defined by a rigid, meticulous, luxurious style that masks a wellspring of bitterness, disgust and rage.” - DAILY BEAST, “Playful and thought-provoking in all the right ways, and holds up a mirror to society’s increasingly superficial consumption of art.” - FILM INQUIRY.
