Night House, The

Rebecca Hall (The Town, Vicky Cristina Barcelona) stars in David Bruckner’s psych-thriller THE NIGHT HOUSE. A director known for specialising in horror, Bruckner’s latest feature is no exception, with the film not holding back on the jump scares (you’ve been warned…) Following the unexpected death of her husband, Beth (Hall) is trying to adjust to life as a widow, alone in the lakeside home he built for them - and barely coping. Ghostly visions come at night, haunting her, but disappear by morning, making her question what’s real and what’s just a dream. Craving answers, Beth begins to dig through her late husband’s things - but what she begins to uncover are strange and horrible secrets better left alone. A grief-stricken portrait of woman unravelling seen through a genuinely frightening lens, THE NIGHT HOUSE builds on the age of new horror that Hereditary and Midsommar began.
