Sanctuary

Directed by Zachary Wigon, SANCTUARY tells the story of a power-hungry dominatrix (Margaret Qualley, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood) and her wealthy client and son of a luxe hotel chain owner Hal (Christopher Abbott, The Forgiven) over the course of one evening in a hotel room. About to inherit his late father's billion-dollar enterprise, Hal tries to end their secret relationship, but when his attempt to cut ties backfires, disaster ensues and the pair become locked in a battle of wits.
Micah Bloomberg (Homecoming)'s salacious screenplay examines the role of power within gender, class, and humanity itself. Shot in 18 days in a 1,200 square foot room with a two-person cast. But within those four walls lies a complex and wildly entertaining tale full of sex, humour, dominion and desire.
