Sweet As

In remote Pilbara country in Western Australia, troubled 16-year-old Murra (Shantae Barnes-Cowan), finds herself abandoned after an explosive incident with her mother. Thrown an unusual lifeline by her caring uncle Ian (Mark Coles Smith), the local police officer, Murra indignantly sets off on a Photo Safari with two adult guides (Tasma Walton & Carlos Sanson Jr.) and three teenagers facing their own challenges. Before they know it, Murra and her new friends set off along a dusty highway into the stunning Australian outback for an adventure that will reshape their lives for the better.

Directed by Jub Clerc, SWEET AS is a moving and uplifting coming-of-age tale for everyone set in a part of Australia without equal; Karijini National Park in Western Australia.
