Denis Villeneuve's (Dune, Prisoners) second English-language feature ENEMY is a tense doppelganger thriller starring Jake Gyllenhaal (Nightcrawler, Brokeback Mountain), Mélanie Laurent (Inglorious Basterds), and Isabella Rossellini (Blue Velvet, Conclave).

Adam (Gyllenhaal) is a mild-mannered college professor who lives a quaint, solitary life. After renting a movie at the recommendation of a co-worker, he discovers a background extra that looks exactly like him. When his curiosity begins to get the better of him, he begins to delve into the private life of the actor, Anthony (Gyllenhaal), leading him down a path that he can’t pull himself away from.

A taut psychological thriller, ENEMY is an underseen work from one of modern cinema's greatest visionaries, setting the tone for stylings that would later become the centrepiece of Villeneuve's filmography.
