Flat Girls

From the producers behind How to Make Millions Before Grandma Dies comes FLAT GRLS, Jirassaya Wongsutin’s beautiful and tender debut.

Raised in ‘the flats’, a complex designated for the hundreds of families of police officers, Jane (Kirana Pipityakorn) and the ambitious Ann (Fatima Dechawaleekul) have grown up with their lives intertwined. Despite differing socioeconomic backgrounds, the pair share a share a close bond and live inseparable lives. But when Jane prepares to leave the flat where she was born and raised, she starts to reflect on old memories of her time there, including a painful story of love and intimacy between her friend and a handsome young policeman, Tong (Pakorn Chatborrirak). As the trio’s lives entwine and untangle, secrets are brought to light and bonds are tested, forcing Jane and Ann to confront the meaning of love, growth and adulthood.

FLAT GIRLS is gorgeous and heart-wrenching coming of age that explores the innate complexities found within love and friendship, and the intimacy and desire that often struggles to come to the fore.
