Hundreds of Beavers

A triumph of imagination, Mike Cheslik's joyously silly HUNDREDS OF BEAVERS has been acclaimed by critics and audiences around the world for capturing the spirit of Looney Tunes in a micro-budget slapstick comedy.

During a supernaturally cold winter, Jean Kayak (Ryland Tews), a drunken applejack salesman, discovers that beavers have burned down his distillery. Frustrated, he sets off on a path of revenge and begins to orchestrate increasingly complex traps to become 19th Century North America's greatest fur trapper, win the hand of a mischievous lover, and defeate hundreds of beavers.

Replicating the over-the-top surrealness of Looney Tunes cartoons, Cheslik's comedy of escalating proportions is a visual delight.
