John Malkovich (Being John Malkovich) is a British businessman-turned-butler in this hilarious French comedy that also features Fanny Ardant (Elizabeth).

Tired of a world in which he no longer fits, deprived of those he loves who are disappearing one by one, Andrew Blake (Malkovich) decides to leave the management of his small business to be hired as a butler in France, the country where he met his wife. By landing at the Beauvillier estate, where no one knows who he really is, he hopes to follow in the footsteps of his past. However, his life takes a turn as he navigates the eccentric behaviour of the lady of the manor and the household staff.
