AKIRA KUROSAWA RESTORED CLASSICS! One of the most influential films of all time, Akira Kurosawa's mystery drama explores the murder of a samurai, recalled from the perspectives of a bandit, the samurai's bride, the samurai's ghost and a woodcutter.

Starring Toshiro Mifune, the film's structure - telling the same story from multiple perspectives - has been utilized by countless filmmakers since and is often cited as the catalyst for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences' decision to annually award a Best Foreign Language Film Oscar. The film won the Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival and Best Director from the National Board of Review.
