An American Sports broadcasting team covering the event must urgently adapt their live coverage when a group of athletes are taken hostage by terrorists. 

Geoff (John Magaro), a young and ambitious producer, is striving to prove himself to his boss - executive Roone Arledge (Peter Sarsgaard) - when gunshots are heard. nearby Together with German interpreter Marianne (Leonie Benesch) and his mentor Marvin Bader (Ben Chaplin), Geoff unexpectedly takes the helm of the live coverage.
