Knives Out

Director Rian Johnson (Looper, The Brothers Bloom) turns his hand to whodunnit: murder mystery flick KNIVES OUT is his latest clever self-penned offering. Assembling quite the cast of Hollywood heavyweights, the film sees a famous crime novelist Harlan Thrombey (Christopher Plummer) murdered at his home; enter Detective Benoit Blanc (Daniel Craig), who’s brought in to figure out what has gone so horribly awry. Who is a suspect, and who’s just a dysfunctional family member? Red herrings, lies and intrigue steer a rollicking black comedy, also starring Toni Collette, Jamie Lee Curtis, Chris Evans and Michael Shannon, that crackles as it unfolds on screen.
